How It Works: An Introduction to Phiten's Exclusive Patented Technology
Why don't Phiten products feel like they have metal in them? Phiten creates all its products using an exclusive patented process of working with titanium. The three primary applications are described below:
|
Aqua-Titanium In nature, titanium is not a soluble material. However, Phiten scientists have developed a way to dissolve titanium in water. This creates Aqua-Titanium, which then can be absorbed into material just like a dye. The Aqua-Titanium becomes part of the fabric and can not be washed out or fade away. Aqua-Titanium is most prominently used in our necklaces and braces, where the entire fabric is permeated with Aqua-Titanium.

Aqua-Titanium X30 Aqua-Titanium X30 has a concentration 30 times higher than standard Aqua-Titanium. The higher concentration is particularly favored by high performance athletes. Look for the necklaces and bracelets with X30 in their name. Review standard Aqua-Titanium.

Micro Titanium Spheres These miniscule, perfectly spherical beads of titanium can then be mixed into a compound to be printed or layered directly onto material to target specific areas of the body.
| |
Micro Titanium Spheres In Necklaces & Bracelets:
At first glance, the inner core of Phiten necklaces and bracelets may look like mere rubber. However, it actually contains Micro-Titanium Spheres and Carbonized Titanium held together in a compound by the elastomer rubber. The S-Type necklaces and bracelets feature a Micro-Titanium Sphere layer embedded on the inside of the silicone, which can be seen easily - just look for the dark or light gray zones across the inside.

Micro Titanium Spheres In Body Supports:
The inside of Phiten’s body supports are printed with Micro-Titanium Sphere print zones. The hexagonal patterns you see are actually a Micro-Titanium Sphere compound, printed onto the fabric to target specific areas with concentrated effectiveness.
